There is a lot of hate for Bubbles on MOPS, I'd like to see something be done, whether that is a warning or something major like a temp ban him for a week or so or something.
He's quite a dick, saying shit like "DOMINATED HIM THEN HE RAGED LOL" then calling others names that your average 11 year old would use.
If certain mops users have gone to the extent of making hate steam groups towards him, and even having considered creating websites, that something should be done. There are users that leave when Bubbles joins.

Quite frankly this just makes you all look childish. Making "hate groups" against a user on a video game simply because an individual doesn't like them is the sort of thing I'd expect to hear about in a playground, not on a moral high-ground. It's reminiscent of immature shit like cyber bullying or text bullying and maybe I was too optimistic when I held the idea that most of our users were beyond puberty.

Now perhaps as a third party my perspective is completely warped, but on one side of this problem, I see someone defending themselves from immature verbal banter with equally immature verbal banter whilst incorporating ageism and homophobia. On the other side I see someone else reacting to said immature verbal banter and defending themselves with more immature verbal banter, among other things, such as making "hate groups". This entire case has no substance and can be stripped down to two people overreacting to something trivial.

In conclusion, in an ideal world none of you would be doing childish things in the first place. However we live in a far from ideal world, filled with people who do childish things. We do not welcome childishness, but we have to be lenient towards it to some extent because of the nature of TF2, online gaming, and human nature in general, and we do not have the means to regulate any of these things (with the exception of when they may become out of hand), nor the intention. Without leniency towards some stupidity, we couldn't retain the relaxed environment we aim for, without creating a double standard. Therefore this holds no grounds as a ban-able offence, especially since it is blatantly obvious that provocation and immaturity have their culprits and advocates on both sides of this conflict. So my advice is that one of you take the high ground, and drop it. Once you stop maintaining such a trivial conflict, the sooner it will disintegrate.
