Advertising

Any ideas?

Um... What are advetising options.

Well there are a ton, I was just hoping you guys could make some suggestions. I made a SPUF post but it got closed. >.< I made some reddit posts but due to a lack of upvotes, nobody pays attention. :c

Well i guess things that are too expensive are out of the question like websites and youtube but i'm sure if we got the community to spread the word it would be pretty much free advertising and i guess maybe creating things like a facebook page and such would be helpful

We've had a facebook page for a year. -_- didnt work. but sure if you want to motivate people to spread the word and PARTICIPATE then sure that would be great.

Which is excellent, we just need more regulars than just 3-4 people.

By regulars do you mean to the website? Or to the server?

both preferably. but right now we need regular participants on the forum to gain momentum.

Yeah well theres you (obviously) Bubbles, Cheese (sorta) and me and thats pretty much it so i will try to spread the word as best as i can.

We get a hundred cats and paste the paper to the cats and run them down the streets of Melbourne (or the nearest city)

One problem, I don't live in Melbourne. But go for it. Local SPCA should do, say you want to buy a cat, glue the advertisements to them, and unleash them into the wild.

You should go into like a busy shopping mall or something and release them there

Dawned on me that people that visit pet stores don't usually play video games and join Steam groups...

Not a good idea because you will just end up pissing people off. For example, imagine if some kid made a forumotion website, came on here, and started trying to poach people for his mc server, it would be annoying and unfair on us, right? Best thing is word of mouth. If every regular on here, bought along two friends who also became regulars, we would already have a solid small community of regulars. Word of mouth is a great thing when people convincingly spread the word to the right people.
