Spam Abuse.

This is mainly a suggestion, but i would not post it if there was not a complaint to inform you of. I'm growing more and more sick of people spamming chat and mic, although fixing this with mute is easy, sometimes you wish to see what they type but your fed up with their mic? anyway I wish there was an anti spam plugin of some form. idk. just a thought.

In the context you are suggesting no such plugin could exist. That said, I can globally mute which allows you to see their typing. But then they can just relog. I also like to treat idiots who do that the same way as I would on a server that I do not personally admin. Because on another server, the solution isn't as simple as asking the admin to mute/ban 99% of the time. There are more constructive ways to deal with people.

Ah that is hilarious. Don't be surprised if that guy is an alt. I thought sourcemod was set up to counter this but I will see what I can do, if it happens again (hopefully when my internet is actually working) ill come on and see what our options are.

In the meantime, mass reporting is always a good idea, especially if they also ban any associated accounts.

3 of us who are constantly active. There are other active members. I can think of 3-4 others who come on occasionally.

Its a verification system to prevent bots/spam amongst other things, so yes, you cannot post until you are activated.

Well it is hardly difficult to get people to activate if they have the audacity to register. Getting them to talk is the hard part.
