Important update

So I have good news and some bad.

Starting with the bad; (and good for me) I am now working full time most days, as well as some potential work releasing games on weekends, which means I have way less free time now to dedicate to the server and games in general. This means my progress towards new updates will be hindered a little, and I may go ahead with my plan (before I was hospitalised) to employ new server staff from trusted regulars, in order to keep the game fresh and the server well looked after when I am not around.

The good news!:

In a fortnight my bandwidth will roll over, and I will download the source sdk so I can make the next update to trade_plaza_mops, which will be a fun update, not just new comp gear, more stuff you guys can do when casually hanging out on the map. It will be good! No eta on when it'll be finished yet obviously.

In other good news, Captain Bubbles, Mac, and myself are working on a Mops group and hangouts on the game Roblox! For anyone who doesn't know, Roblox is a free to play online game that can be played even on older systems, that emphasises customisation and game-type variety, it shares similarities to Garry's mod. We are making custom clothing, a custom group, and a hangout (+ maybe a game of captain's own elaborate design/inheritance) for all Mops members. Our project is still in early stages, but you are all invited to sign up to Roblox and give feedback to us, or to just hang out!

"Sucks" is down to perspective, and roblox offers a lot to players which people will both like and dislike. This is called variety and broadness and maybe you should be willing to give that a chance over your current narrow perspective of what roblox is. That would be like me saying that Team Fortress 2 "sucks" because I dislike pyrovision, or to exaggerate one step further, saying all First Person Shooters suck because of Team Fortress 2.

Essentially what we are primarily creating in roblox is an experience similar to Mops in TF2, which is a hang out where anything goes and players occupy themselves with various meta-games. If you enjoy that in TF2, there is a good chance you will enjoy that in any other game that allows for the same experience.

Bubbles does suck.

I used to think it was a bad game BEFORE I tried it, but its actually addicting once you understand everything. Oh, and you need to try it before having an opinion, even though it sounds hypocritical of me to say this due to what I said from above, until then, you're not entitled to one.

Apparently, roblox stole some shit from tf2, like the sticky launcher. I dislike supporting their brand.

Tf2 has arguably stolen content from other games in the same way. You should try it, you'd probably like it.

It's a fun concept, the idea of being able to code and build free games for rewards is rather entertaining.

And if your into game development, roblox supports full LUA coding in level editing, so theoretically if your a great coder, you... CAN, possibly create almost anything that comes to mind.

I agree the admins are faggots, and their mind has gone to money. But still its fun.
