Old maps on Mops

Can we have the old maps back? (The ones a year ago) They were fun

I'm not sure what your talking about but a bit more varity would be nice as tenta said

Well originally I did not know a thing about mapping. So we just went and ignorantly dumped a shitton of awesome maps into the roster. This was great for those who were dedicated to the server, but almost no new players would ever come due to the constant amount of giant maps we were running, then eventually the regulars got bored and left for a time. :/

Nonoono, I remember what actually happened. Remember your Minecraft server Tentacle? Well, we spent a chunk of our time playing on it so the TF2 Server was deserted because we were all on the Minecraft server. Because we weren't there, there was no one on the Mops TF2 server and no new people were prepared to join an empty server. When something happened or something, we stopped playing the Minecraft server and no one played on the TF2 server because everyone who played on it had either left because no one was there (and they didn't know about the Minecraft server) or they migrated to Minecraft. That's why the server was idle for so long. (When I say Minecraft server, I meant the one with Village of Deathsing or something, not the one with your town thingy) I hope you understand what you just read because I certainly don't.

That was a contributing factor, yes. But the fact was we would always burn through new maps, but there weren't enough good ones in existence at the time to keep that habit alive and well. So repetition kicked in.

There were a shit ton, too many to name off the top of my head but to name a few:
harbl_hotel
Trade_minecraft
balloon_race
pl_dreadnaught
dm_mariokart
some other mariokart map
wacky_races
kingofthetrain
xiuhcoatl for a while
convoy
some huge map with a giant companion cube
bake-off for a while (i need to fix it still.)
trade_rawr
and a bunch of others.

About number 1, isn't it even more repetitive on just the trade map now?

well yes but people got board of the same maps repeating themselves so with just this map players find new fun stuff to do and not just do whats in the map
ie. deanoo and i making a movie

We have new server exclusive custom maps in the works, in the future we will have enough for a rotation.

I was referring to definition 2 in which case I was referring to the food that you have and not necessarily saying that we would be eating it only that it would be there... huge difference :3 If I'd said we were going to have sammichs and cake and blah blah people would get bored and not know what im talking about or be like just say its a picnic hurr durr silly cheese never try to dominate the kitten
